ETO CREATIVE TEAM
James Conway - General Director
James is both artistic director and general manager of
ETO. As well as supervising the running of the company and choosing the
repertory, he also directs some of the ETO shows.
David Burke - General Manager
David arranges the ETO tour schedule, taking bookings
from theatres and tries to ensure we visit all areas of the country. He
is also in charge of the company's finances.
Michael brings to ETO a wealth of experience in the opera house, and specialist knowledge of the development of young singers. Michael continually works to develop the musical standard of the company, working with the General Director on casting and repertoire selection and through his work with the ETO orchestra.
Tim Yealland - Artistic Associate,
Education
Tim plans and devises ETO's education projects for
people of all ages and abilities - from on stage workshops to
residencies in schools and special children performances. He also
participates in and runs many of these programs
Naomi Collins - Education/Office
Administrator
Naomi makes sure the ETO office and runs smoothly. She is also in charge of ETO's music
library and works with Tim on education and outreach programmes.
Gareth Spillane - Marketing Manager
Gareth is responsible for the revenue generated through
tickets sales and contributed income from individuals, sponsors and
trusts. He manages a team of marketing professionals to
achieve these objectives as well as build sustainable audience
development, form local area chapers and conduct market research to
optimize how ETO serves all audiences.
Sebastian Stern – Marketing and
Press Officer
Sebastian is responsible for developing ETO profile through national, regional
and local press. He also manages ETO’s new media, including
e-marketing and web based video.
Esyllt is responsible for forming ETO Networks
in all
the areas we tour to and developing and deploying marketing at various
venues. She is also responsible for developing the ETO
programme
and related production materials.
Henriette works mainly with our Paul Hamlyn Foundation hubs: Cambridge, Wolverhampton, Truro and Exeter. She is also responsible for individual and corporate support.
Brendan Dinen - Development and Finance OfficerBrendan works on generating revenue from trust funds and foundation and also securing cash and in-kind partnership through regional and local sponsorship. He is also responsible for keeping the ETO database up to date, tracking budgets and helping to prepare payroll.
Paul Tucker - Production Manager
Paul is responsible for all managing and supervising all
the technical aspects of an ETO tour including liason with designers,
carpenters, stage managment team and insuiring the shows are
transported to each theatre, set up and broken down to go to the next
venue.
Shawn McCrory - Artistic Administrator
Shawn is responsible for contracting ETO's singers and
orchestral players and for looking after their welfare and development.
He works in the ETO office some of the time and acts as company manager
on tour.
