The ETO education programme has been a vital part of English Touring Opera's work for over 15 years and has been nominated for 2 RPS awards. Our goal is to make ETO's rich cultural resources accessible to as many people as possible through a variety of projects for young people and adults, including those with special needs. We hope to extend the range of educational opportunities available to even more venues across the country.
The centre of our outreach is twofold: to introduce people, young and old, to opera in general and to particular works; and the creation of new music- theatre - the result of collaborative work between our own artists and amateurs. Our policy is to be as inclusive as possible, engaging equally with people with and without disability
